The Farmhouse in the Vineyard

Escape for the month or longer to our private vineyard located in between Napa and Sonoma. Enjoy a world-class wine region boasting hundreds of wineries, outstanding restaurants, and farmer’s markets from your own private retreat. Amidst it’s mountain surroundings, our vineyard is only 4-miles from Calistoga at the north end of the Napa Valley.
Our 60 acre property is a working vineyard with acres of vines lined by our own olive grove and apple tree orchard. We nurture the grapes all summer and hand pick them each fall to create our acclaimed own Lawer Estates Wines. Wake up to the sun sweeping over the endless vineyards and go to sleep under the stars. Enjoy the pool with its idyllic view of the vineyards.

Though it is extraordinarily private and you feel like you are in your own cacoon, you can easily grab local roasted coffee and breakfast just minutes away in Calistoga.
The original 1940’s two story farmhouse is custom decorated offering two bedrooms each with a queen size bed as well as two full bathrooms. The fully stocked kitchen is replete with everything you need to make a gourmet dinner with local ingredients picked up during the day. The living and dining rooms will luxuriously accommodate you during your stay.
This home offers the perfect venue to celebrate holidays or special occasions with your family and friends. Imagine starting any occasion with appetizers outside overlooking the vineyards at one of the many outdoor dining tables on the property. Play a game of bocce ball at sunset on your private regulation bocce ball court, swim in the pool, or simply toast the day with a great feast at the generous dining table. If you visit in the fall, we encourage our guests to pick apples from award winning apple trees throughout the property.
Fly direct to the Charles Schultz Sonoma County/Santa Rosa airport from Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, or San Diego. The drive from the airport to the property is less than an hour and you’ll be ready to start your monthlong stay - unless you decide to go wine tasting along the way. Alternatively, you may opt to fly into San Francisco, Oakland or Sacramento Airport and drive less than 2 ½ hours to the property. Retreat on the Knoll

Come visit our 15 acre property, just one mile from Calistoga, at the north end of the Napa Valley. Stay for a month or more in our very private custom decorated home located at the crest of an Oak tree studded knoll, surrounded by vineyards. Although you will feel secluded at the property, it is so close to town that you can watch hot air balloons taking off over town at sunrise, while easily grabbing locally roasted coffee and breakfast, just a few blocks away.
The two story main house has three bedrooms, each with a king size bed and a private bathroom. The upper floor features a large common area with stunning views of the Napa Valley. This floor includes a formal dining area, living room with a stone fireplace, a TV room/office, a master bedroom suite complete with a soaking tub and separate shower, as well as a fabulous

gourmet kitchen. The kitchen is replete with all the cooking utensils and appliances that will satisfy both the master chef and novice. Below, the first floor offers two additional bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. A second TV/family room with a stone fireplace, wet bar, and washer/dryer complete this sensational property.
The property also offers a one bedroom guest house with a king-size bed, bathroom, breakfast nook, washer/dryer and its own kitchen. The guest house has its own patio, private yard and a charming wooden pergola.
Relax, go for a peaceful stroll on the grounds, enjoy the lookouts to the nearby mountain ranges or take a refreshing dip in the solar-heated pool. If alfresco dining and cooking are desired, the property offers a built-in outdoor kitchen by its own pond, with both a dining table on the upstairs deck off the kitchen and a second area below, in the shade near the pool. Completing this property are numerous games for fun, indoors, and a horseshoe pit and grassy knoll, outdoors.

Creekside

Welcome to Creekside, nestled in a wooded hillside, is this very private cabin-like home adjacent to our sixty acre vineyard and newly planted olive grove. Enjoy a glass of our Lawer Estates Wine on the wrap around deck while you admire the vista overlooking the trees, distant hills and vines. Relax in the oversized hot tub, set upon its own special hill with valley view. This house features two full stories of living area, compete with an additional third floor king bed, master bedroom loft with private bathroom and dressing area. The main floor of the house is up one flight of stairs from the covered parking area. This floor houses a beautiful kitchen with a lovely look out, past the enclosed porch, onto the hills. Bordered by a cozy reading nook at one end and the country French dining table on the other, the galley kitchen offers

all the cooking utensils and appliances desired by both a gourmet chef or novice cook to create fabulous fare out of all the fresh farmed foods that the wine country offers. A second bedroom, with a king-size bed and bathroom, as well as a cozy living room with views of the olive grove and distant vineyards, completes the main floor living area. Just off of the kitchen is a full-size washer and dryer housed behind rustic double doors adding to this rental’s easy-living feeling. The entry floor of the house, one flight down, houses a large tv viewing area, corner office area and the third king size bedroom, with a bathroom that is accessible to the bedroom and the television/fun area. This floor provides lots of space for families to spread out to enjoy movie nights or family game time. From this creek side retreat it is wonderful to go for a long stroll on the grounds, enjoy the lookouts to the nearby mountain ranges, sample an apple from the nearby orchard or, simply, marvel at the variety of shades of green that olive grove provides.
