A duet of two of our favorite Rhone varietals:
Lawer Estates 2016 Syrah
Double Gold Medal - 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
95 Points / Gold / Best of Class of Appellation - 2019 California State Fair
94 Points / Gold Medal - 2019 North of the Gate Wine Competition
94 Points / Gold Medal - 2019 Beverage Tasting Institute
A distinctive red with deep, rich color, polish and structure, offering floral blueberry and spice aromas, and dynamic huckleberry, smoky meat flavors that take on momentum toward the refined tannins. This impressive wine reveals complex flavors of ripe blackcurrants, cherries and plums wrapped in layers of chocolate and vanilla spice box. This Syrah is showing great concentration, full-body and a fabulous long, lingering finish.
Lawer Estates 2016 Viognier
92 Points / Gold Medal - 2018 Beverage Tasting Institute
The Lawer Viogner entices with brilliant shades of yellow and flashes of green. Pretty aromas of fig, cashew, sweet peach and a hint of French oak lead to a citrus-fig combination on the palate. A harmonious finish of creamy texture and mouth feel with balanced acidity lures you back for another sip.
